Are you interested in transforming your local district heating network into a robust and energy efficient system?
Then you are cordially invited to the upcoming in-person simulation workshop on October 3, 2024, in Zagreb. In the frame of the European HeatMineDH project, at the heart of the workshop is the interactive energy planning Serious Game, developed by HAWK University in Germany.
Participants will have the opportunity to take on one of three key roles (Government, District Manager, or Energy Utility) and within this role, build a sustainable heat supply in a fictional city.
In a simulated virtual gaming environment, transformation strategies for heating urban districts are to be developed, and decisions are to be made regarding the technical, ecological, and socio-economic aspects of district heating systems. This will help you understand the relationships and interdependencies between the various actors in the heat sector. You will find a
description of the roles in the game here.
