About Juho-Matti
Juho-Matti Karpale is the CEO of the Finnish start-up LignEasy.
In the webinar, Juho-Matti will talk about the company and their development of a sulphuric acid-free separation of lignin for kraft pulp mills. This process does not require any modification of the mill. LignEasy is one of the innovative companies scaling up its operations at LignoCity in Bäckhammar. Their technology will be demonstrated in Lignocity and will be able to produce lignin for customers’ own tests in ton-scale. The pilot is about to start in 2024.

About David Blomberg Saitton
David Blomberg Saitton works as a research and business developer in biorefinery and energy at RISE. Among other things, he works with the Bioeconomy Arena initiative, which supports industry and society to accelerate the development of new products and solutions based on sustainable origins.
In the webinar, he will present how RISE, with its Bioeconomy Arena initiative, can contribute as a partner in transforming new ideas into scalable, real solutions.
