UNITED-GRID’s solutions for future intelligent distribution grids and the ways forward
14/06/2021 09:00
In this final online event of UNITED-GRID, we will first present a short summary of the developed solutions for advanced forecast, congestion management, real-time monitoring, control and protection for future intelligent distribution grids with high level of renewables. Next, the demonstration results of selected solutions, including Atos Lynx Grid Edge Open Platform, will be presented in details with focus on explaining what problems they could solve and how they performed in environments at real demonstrators (or connected them, e.g., hardware-in-the-loop simulation).
Then, cyber-physical system requirements on cybersecurity will be presented and the evaluation results on UNITED-GRID use cases will be discussed. Afterwards, we will highlight the plans on how the solutions can be developed and exploited in the future by both project partners and interested stakeholders.
We will end the event with a final panel discussion session with open questions and answers between audience and project partners. The interested stakeholders will also have the opportunity to indicate their interests in certain solutions directly in this session or by answering survey questionnaire after the event. The indicated interests will be followed up by the project management team and project partners who own the solutions by organizing bi-/multi-lateral meetings to discuss the solutions and the ways forward.
