In August we released our new home for all the services at RISE ICE Data center. The site is called ICE Connect. The first services available are our experimental compute cloud (ECC) and our new Kubernetes cluster with many new resources for big data development and AI. |

Aimed at establishing the European federation of Data Driven Innovation Hubs, the project EUHubs4Data is already running and had its activity kick-off. We at ICE participate as one of 12 initial DIHs with the goal to consilidate as the European reference on innovation and experimentation on #BigData. |

Heatbox with worms. Using heat from the datacenter can become one economical and environmentally friendly way to recover heat in subarctic climates. |
The local press Norrmedia with the newspapers NSD and Kuriren wrote an article about ICE and our worm culture in the heatbox testbed. The project is about growing mealworms in a heat box, which in the long run will become chicken food. |
