ICE Data center granted I-Space Platinum level by BDVA
ICE Data center was granted the highest I-Space Platinum level by BDVA. BDVA grants a label for European Data Innovation Spaces and Hubs to help drive forward Big Data adoption and AI-based innovation across all domains within European industry. Every year, existing hubs can obtain a label as a “BDVA i-Space”, after an evaluation process based on comprehensive criteria.

Frida Faxborn, TechSverige:
In the two days, a delegation consisting of TechSverige's member companies Atea Sweden, Advania Sweden, Sweco, Sharp Business Systems Sweden, Inrego and CGI was fed full of exciting information and knowledge about the latest in Swedish data center development, where Sweden is at the top of the world!
PROJECTS
Telia and RISE granted funding for 5G networks. Two women looking at cell phone in forest
Telia and RISE granted EU funding for dedicated
5G networks
With new EU funding, Telia will build dedicated 5G networks with the latest technical capabilities at five locations in Sweden. The advanced networks will carry ground-breaking projects for digital innovation in important social areas such as transport and logistics, agriculture and healthcare, where RISE becomes a partner in one project and Region Stockholm leads the other.

HEATWISE – Waste heat and thermal energy management in tertiary buildings.
EU funded project HEATWISE aims to tackle the integration of waste heat and thermal energy management in tertiary buildings with significant IT loads for the minimization of waste heat, maximization of energy efficiency, and generation of additional value.
RISE and Intel to develop sustainable data center technologies
RISE and Intel in cooperation to develop sustainable data centre technologies.
We at RISE Research Institutes of Sweden are pleased to announce a new collaboration with Intel, a world leader in the design and manufacturing of essential technologies that power the cloud and an increasingly smart, connected world.
RISE and Intel to develop sustainable data center technologies
A successful end to the Greener electronics project
After 22 months of intensive work, the project, which was coordinated and carried out by the research institute RISE Research Institutes of Sweden and co-financed by the European Union, has come to an end. The goal of Greener electronics was to develop and spread new technology, together with other measures aimed at reducing the resource impact from the manufacture, use and recycling of electronics.
